Currently, we are seeking a Pre-Install Account Consultant with at least 5 years experience. This position is for LoJack, a wholly owned subsidiary of CalAmp.

 

It will be HOME BASED.  The ideal candidate would be located most anywhere within or just outside of the bay area. As far as Vallejo, Concord, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Drives overall customer retention and business expansion with assigned Pre-install accounts
  • Trains dealership employees on how to successfully and profitably execute /maintain a LoJack Pre-install program
  • Develops LoJack SVR and telematics sales action plans to improve dealership penetration results and increase dealer and LoJack revenue and profits
  • Conducts effective customer business reviews with dealer management; communicates program results and recommends action plans
  • Trains, directs and communicates with floor sales individuals, desk managers, and F&I producers
  • Successfully navigates LoJack’s reporting systems; is the subject matter expert with pulling reports and sharing relevant information with their accounts
  • Documents and shares best practices related to selling, launching and servicing Pre-Install accounts. Works directly with other members of the sales organization to implement best practices and drive continued focus across corporate functions on PIP-specific programs and system improvements.
  • Works closely with the dealership's accounting department to ensure timely receipt of receivables; addresses invoicing issues and provides recommendations for improved processes when necessary
  • Provides ongoing input on the effectiveness of key corporate initiatives in assigned dealerships
  • Gathers and reports competitive activity to the Area Business Director and appropriate corporate Sales and Marketing personnel
  • Participates in cross-functional efforts to improve and automate Pre-Install programs, processes and systems
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Works with integrity and in an ethical manner, up-holding organizational values 

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • 5+ years previous Sales, Operations or Account Management experience
  • Experience working with automotive dealerships
  • Analytical mindset; demonstrates strong attention-to-detail and is comfortable working with numbers and data
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs; particularly strong with Excel

 

Strong Pluses

  • Ideal candidate is familiar with automotive dealer processes, systems and financials.
  • A knowledge of auto telematics/inventory management is helpful, but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree
