  • Support Corporate Controller’s efforts to ensure compliance with Company policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory laws and regulations.
  • Support Corporate Controller’s effort to ensure that all financial data is accurate, complete and submitted in accordance with GAAP and Company policies and timeframes.
  • Support Corporate Controller’s effort to maintain an adequate system of internal controls to provide reasonable assurance that assets are protected and results are properly reported. Assist in coordinating quarterly self-assessments and periodic tests and ensure that there are no material weaknesses or significant deficiencies in controls that would require reporting under the Sarbanes Oxley regulations.
  • Supervision and development of Accounting (team of 15-20) Staff.
  • Responsible for financial weekly flash reports and other Accounting Reports
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts, annual budget and monthly reporting metrics.
  • Lead the month end general ledger close financial process with emphasis on shortening the length of time taken to close the books. Delegate and monitor completion of timely and accurate assigned journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to the sub-system and/or supporting documents.
  • Assist Corporate Controller in providing detailed, analytic explanations for all significant financial variances (to plan, to forecast, etc.) through the monthly quarterly and annual close period.
  • Develop and execute cross-training processes for accounting staff to assure no lapses in job duties during planned and/or unplanned absences. Document process steps in standard workflows instructions.


Must Haves

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 8 years of accounting experience ideally in tech company environments
  • Knowledge of standard cost system
  • Exposure to Oracle ERP Cloud
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BIERC
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong supervisory leadership qualities including but not limited to honesty, candor, decisiveness and initiative
  • Strong prioritization skills, flexibility and ability to multi-task
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

Strong Pluses

  • CPA
  • Manufacturing accounting experience
