This position is a remote based position. The ideal candidate will be located in Northern New Jersey for easy access into the New York area. Being based somewhere north of Newark/Jersey City will work well.

The Implementation and Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of processes and systems at automotive dealers that pre-install LoJack’s stolen vehicle recovery systems and/or telematics-based products on their vehicle inventory.


S/he is an adept problem-solver with a strong attention-to-detail who leverages data, analytical thinking, and an in-depth knowledge of the customer’s systems and processes to ensure program success and overall customer satisfaction. The Implementation and Business Develop Manager is an effective communicator and has a strong sense of urgency, initiative and competitive drive. S/he is a skilled trainer, capable of motivating dealer employees and ensuring recommended processes are adhered to. S/he is capable of building relationships at all levels of the dealership’s organization and is driven by a desire to achieve positive results.


The ideal candidate for this position would have prior account management experience, is comfortable with technology, and possesses a general understanding of automotive dealer financials and operations.


  • Drives overall customer retention and business expansion with assigned Pre-install accounts
  • Trains dealership employees on how to successfully and profitably execute /maintain a LoJack Pre-install program
  • Develops LoJack SVR and telematics sales action plans to improve dealership penetration results and increase dealer and LoJack revenue and profits
  • Conducts effective customer business reviews with dealer management; communicates program results and recommends action plans
  • Trains, directs and communicates with floor sales individuals, desk managers, and F&I producers
  • Successfully navigates LoJack’s reporting systems; is the subject matter expert with pulling reports and sharing relevant information with their accounts
  • Documents and shares best practices related to selling, launching and servicing Pre-Install accounts. Works directly with other members of the sales organization to implement best practices and drive continued focus across corporate functions on PIP-specific programs and system improvements.
  • Works closely with the dealership's accounting department to ensure timely receipt of receivables; addresses invoicing issues and provides recommendations for improved processes when necessary
  • Provides ongoing input on the effectiveness of key corporate initiatives in assigned dealerships
  • Gathers and reports competitive activity to the Area Business Director and appropriate corporate Sales and Marketing personnel
  • Participates in cross-functional efforts to improve and automate Pre-Install programs, processes and systems
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Works with integrity and in an ethical manner, up-holding organizational values 


  • Auto Industry knowledge & experience. This position requires that you have sold to/managed automotive dealerships as your clients
  • 5+ years previous Sales, Operations or Account Management experience required within or outside of LoJack
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs; particularly strong with Excel
  • Analytical mindset; demonstrates strong attention-to-detail and is comfortable working with numbers and data
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. 

Strong Pluses

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ideal candidate is familiar with automotive dealer processes, systems and financials
  • A knowledge of auto telematics/inventory management is helpful, but not mandatory
