Responsibilities

As a Hardware Engineer Intern in our Eden Prairie office, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers to design, build, and debug new telematics devices for the Heavy Duty Equiptment / Construction industry.

  • Assist with the building and testing of prototypes.
  • Create, modify, and update test reports
  • Troubleshoot issues using lab equipment under the guidance of a Senior Engineer
  • Document new product releases or corrective actions (NCR, CAPA) by creating ECOs

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Currently pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Practical lab experience with hardware and PCBs
  • Experience with typical lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes and DMMs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and desire to be a team player

 

Strong Pluses

  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Ability to follow test procedures and document results
  • Excellent technical writing skills, ability to create documentation
  • Analytical and strong problem solving skills
