    Responsibilities

    The Senior Enterprise IT Security Manager focuses the company's effort to secure its information assets through the ongoing development of its security strategy, architecture and controls. This person is responsible for establishing and evangelizing the IT security program across the IT department as well as the Product and Engineering teams. The individual in this role understands the challenges associated with development of embedded hardware systems and/or SaaS applications while ensuring that effective security measures are incorporated into these products so that any overall telematics solution incorporating these elements is also secure.

     

    This person will work with internal groups to develop and implement flexible security solutions that addresses the needs of a hybrid and rapidly evolving decentralized business environment. The individual must be a result-oriented person who has made tangible improvements to security at a mid-market technology company. Excellent technical and communications skills are a must, as well as proven information security thought leadership experience.

     

    Responsibilities and tasks will include, but are not limited to:

     

    Strategic Responsibilities:

    • Develop formalized security architecture standards and specifications for adoption by corporate governance
    • Implement an ongoing security program review and mitigation process for information assets
    • Create programs, processes, and projects that achieve security program goals

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Improve the implementation of current security controls; implement new controls where needed; regularly monitor and report on implemented controls
    • Regularly audit information systems and data processing facilities to expose vulnerabilities; report findings and steward remediation efforts
    • Coordinate incident response planning and execution; evaluate suspected security breaches and manage corrective actions
    • Develop and deliver security program and services
    • Conduct product security architecture reviews, security control audits, product vulnerability assessments, and 3rd party security reviews in support of customer security requirements, across the solutions portfolio 
    • Provide SME consulting in all phases of pertinent security accreditation processes

    Qualifications

    Must Haves

    • College degree (BA/BS) in Computer Sciences or related Information Technology degrees
    • Additional information security related training and/or job experience
    • Ability to interface with senior management
    • A service-oriented, "teach, don't preach" approach in dealing with internal customers

     

    Strong Pluses

    • Experience in implementing and maintaining SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance programs

    • Excellent staff management skills
    • Enterprise information security program leadership in a 500+ person organization
    • IT Information security risk assessment and mitigation for internal and customer facing systems 
    • A current information security certification (GIAC, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
