    Responsibilities

    “Technical Analyst – Oracle Enterprise Systems” will be a hands-on Techno/Functional Analyst position responsible for building and supporting all application extension, migration, integration and reporting solutions around Oracle, and other Enterprise Applications including integration with company’s SAAS platforms. Primary focus of work will be in Oracle SAAS ERP/SCM Cloud Applications using Oracle PAAS platforms like SOA Cloud Services/ICS etc. and development tools like Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, BPEL etc. Projects may also involve other 3rd party business information transactional and analytical systems.


    This resource will work closely with internal users of various organizational groups (Finance, Supply Chain, Order Administration, Fulfilment/Logistics, Planning, Manufacturing etc.) to gather and analyse business requirements, conceive, design and deploy technical system solutions to meet business needs. Spirited and wholesome contribution with internal and/or external development teams and interaction with offshore teams are must-have traits.
    Responsibilities and tasks will include, but are not limited to:

     

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Identify, plan, develop, test and deploy business information system extensions/integrations/reports and other technical enhancements to support user business flows.
    • Work with business to investigate, communicate, document & resolve ERP and integrated application issues.
    • Coordinate tasks and deliverables of 3rd-party ERP project technical contractors/consultants engaged to support company’s business system flows within or outside of Oracle Cloud platforms.
    • Develop user training material, desktop procedures and application documentation as required.
    • Work with business users and Oracle Support to log, track and get resolution on ERP application issues and work with users to coordinate user testing before product patching. Perform administration functions on Oracle SaaS and PaaS applications.

    Qualifications

    Must Haves

    • A college degree (BA/BS) in Accounting and/or Computer Information systems, or equivalent work experience
    • Five years of hands-on technical development experience with ‘Oracle ERP Applications’ [Cloud or on-prem {EBS/SAAS Cloud} projects
    • Good understanding of the functionalities of Oracle SCM Modules [Order Management, Shipping, Inventory, Purchasing, Service Contracts, BOM and WIP and a reasonable understanding of Finance Modules [GL, AP, AR, FA and Cash Management].
    • Hands-on experience within Oracle ERP (EBS or SAAS) technical environments using PL-SQL, JAVA/JDeveloper, BPEL, XML, WSDL, SOA Cloud platform, EDI, Oracle Integration Cloud etc.
    • Experienced in data conversion from legacy systems, development of ERP integrations using middleware tools and development of reports using various tools like BI Publisher etc.,
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and ramp up on new technologies/tool sets and deliver solutions using the same.
    • A service-oriented approach in dealing with internal customers
    • Ability to thrive in multi-tasking, stressful, yet forwardly mobile, technology environments
