    • Analyzing and assessing vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (software, hardware, networks)
    • Investigating available tools and countermeasures to remedy detected vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions and best practices
    • Analyzing and assess damage to the data/infrastructure as a result of security incidents
    • Examining available recovering tools and processes, and recommending solutions
    • Testing for compliance with security policies and procedures
    • Assisting in the creation, implementation, and/or management of security solutions
    • Various other security related tasking as assigned.


    Must Haves

    • Bachelor's degree or in progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with focus on Information Security

    Strong Pluses

    • Current educational path in Information Technology with a concentration in Security
    • Security certifications such as Security+, GIAC, etc.

    • Participation in Cybersecurity clubs, teams, and/or competitions

    • Scripting experience in Python, Powershell, etc.

    • AWS exposure

    • Exposure to automation tools such as Jenkins, Chef, etc.
