    Responsibilities

    The HR Assistant supports the daily functions related to the administration of Human Resources and Payroll.

    • Handles termination packets, term notifications and assists with exit interviews
    • Accurately process HR changes using ADP Workforce Now
    • Enters and verifyies entry of termination and various status changes
    • Creates standard weekly/monthly reports
    • Create custom reports as needed –using ADP reporting system, Excel VLOOKUP
    • Assist with coordination of company functions & wellness programs
    • Work with HR on various projects i.e. benefits enrollments
    • Assists with benefit, workers comp, and leave of absences
    • Support and coordinates catering events as requested by management
    • Responds to unemployment claims
    • New Hire Employee Policies – sends via DocuSign
    • Birthday – Emails
    • Immigration – assist with initiating H1B & Green Card Process
    • Service Awards
    • Orders Business Cards
    • Order supplies
    • Scans documents and uploads to ADP

     

    Qualifications

    Must Haves

    • 1-2 years of related experience preferred
    • Reliable
    • HRIS experience a plus
    • Word, Excel and Outlook experience a must.
    • Ability to communicate in written form and verbal
    • Any form of HR training or experience a preferred

     

    Strong Pluses

    • Familiar and current on federal and state wage and hour laws, pertinent OSHA compliance regulations, Worker’s Compensation laws and best practices, and employee benefit programs
    • Ability to provide effective verbal and written communications to managers and employees in the organization
