    Assist VE engineers in test and characterization of device behavior under various scenarios, including execution of validation test plans, replication of problem reports from the field, and characterization of new products.


    Must Haves

    • Bachelor's degree or in progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in a high-level programming language (C/C++ or Java preferred, but not mandatory)
    • Strong interest in vehicles
    • Proficience in using basic electronic test equipment (digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
    • Project work involving characterization of electronic devices or circuitry, including both electrical and functional characteristics

    Strong Pluses

    • Knowledge of OBDII vehicle diagnostics
    • Knowledge of CAN protocol
    • Experience with GPS technology
    • Experience with Cellular technology
    • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, routing)
    • Experience with embedded systems
    • Proficiency in MS Excel: formulas, pivot tables and VBA
