    The Vehicle Engineering validation group is responsible for testing a variety of products that interface to Heavy and Light duty vehicles.


    There are a series of written vehicle bus test procedures that need to be automated. This individual will work with the VE validation team to convert these procedures into software programs or Python scripts as part of a pre-existing automation framework.  Work consists of controlling a vehicle bus simulator and the unit under test over a serial interface, capture and post test results to a SQL database.


    Must Haves

    • 2+ years of experience programming in C/C++ OR Java
    • 1+ year of experience programming in Python or Perl
    • 1+ year of experience in database programming such as SQL
    • Strong interest in vehicles
    • Project work with test automation

    Strong Pluses

    • Experience with GPS technology
    • Experience with Cellular technology
    • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, routing)
    • Experience with embedded systems
    • Proficiency in MS Excel: formulas, pivot tables and VBA
