Currently, we are seeking a Senior Product Line Manager with at least 8 years of tech industry experience to own our LoJack product portfolio.     Responsibilities

    • Provide technical leadership and direction for platform/application development
    • Manages products through every stage of the product lifecycle   
    • Develop and maintains a comprehensive and highly differentiated product offering and roadmap including devices, application and value-added services
    • Development of clear and actionable product requirements with user stories and use cases that engineering can use to effectively build products with rapid and high market acceptance
    • Develop & manage market launch plans and associated collateral
    • Monitor & drive product design-in through strong collaboration with sales & distribution partners   
    • Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) to ensure product specifications & schedules are met per customer/market expectations    
    • Meet regularly with key customers, prospects, and partners to solicit input and to promote the product strategy and key value propositions
    • Work closely with the Quality team to address all customer product related queries & quality issues     
    • Maintain a repository of product competitive analyses for product positioning
    • Assist in organization of customer events & trade shows
    • Conduct product training for sales & distribution partners

    Qualifications

    Must Haves

    • Demonstrated success in defining & launching successful customer focused technology solutions in highly competitive markets
    • Experience in defining & delivering market leading mobile applications
    • 8 years of tech industry experience
    • 5 years of product management or product marketing experience
    • Consumer focused software product background
    • Knowledgeable in the software development processes & associated technologies (requirements development)
    • Detail-oriented but can also see the big picture
    • Experience in hardware development & lifecycle management
    • Understanding of product life cycle from product conception, qualification, market release, to mass production
    • Outstanding leadership and communications skills (both written and verbal)
    • Capable of prioritizing tasks, monitor project progress & report program statuses to management in a timely fashion
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-tasking and meet established deadlines
    • Sense of urgency to meet customer requirements and commitment to customer service & satisfaction
    • High level of integrity and work ethics
    • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments
    • Willing and able to work onsite in Irvine, California or Carlsbad, California
    • Willing and able to travel up to 25% on average
    • Technical Bachelors degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines)

     

    Strong Pluses

    • MBA
    • Automotive dealership market experience
