Responsibilities

Design, implement, test and maintain software logic and components
Design and build systems with automated instrumentation and monitoring
Consistently improve maintainability and stability of the codebase
Collaborate with product & business operations teams to translate business requirements and build highly robust
and scalable products

Qualifications

Relevant Experience

 

Collaborate with experienced senior team members
Design and implement connected solutions and services
Design, develop, document, and maintain high-quality scalable software
Troubleshoot and resolve issues
Improving quality of automated tests
Conduct code and design reviews
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software

Must Haves

In progress towards (or obtained) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Programming experience with Java with good understanding of object-oriented design
Experience using RDBMS and SQL
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Strong Pluses

Familiarity with Microservices, distributed event-driven architectures
Familiarity with AWS cloud based technologies
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools
Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals including object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Innovative mindset
Ability to bring out-of-the-box solutions for complex problems
