As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly motivated & collaborative team that designs, develops and delivers software for our new CalAmp Telematics Cloud IoT Admin Application being built from ground up.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and scalable software
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, UX and responsiveness of applications
• Translate use cases into functional applications
• Identify performance bottlenecks and develop solutions to these problems
• Research and utilize new cutting edge technologies
• Lead, mentor and coach other engineers/interns that are local to the location and perform code reviews

Must Haves

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English with ability to interact with diverse groups of people including remote and offshore teams
• Strong leadership skills with ability to influence, motivate, coach & mentor other engineers
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail 
• Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively, to take initiative, and to maintain productivity under pressure
• Bachelor's in Computer Science
• 6+ years of experience with below technologies:
  o React, Typescript, Redux, Material UI, NodeJS, Yarn, Git
  o Consuming REST based services

Strong Pluses

• Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience building UI for large scale distributed systems and applying various architectural patterns
• Experience in React Query, Next.js, i18next, Reselect, Enzyme, Preact Signals, Jest or other unit testing framework
• Experience working with GraphQL
