Responsibilities

 

  • Develop device drivers and application firmware for products using 32 bit microcontrollers
  • Maintain and support existing embedded software
  • Interfaces with other members of the development team, validation test and field application engineers
  • Development and maintenance of firmware design documentation.
  • Develop Unit and Acceptance Tests, and document test procedures

 

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 
  • 10+ years of embedded firmware development experience
  • Knowledge about microcontrollers and internals is required and able to comprehend hardware specs and schematics
  • Experience with Super loop and RTOS architectures
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Python
  • Familiarity with using digital scopes and logic analyzers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong Pluses

  • MS in Computer Science preferred
  • Experience with eLinux architecture
  • Experience with Cellular, BLE, and WiFi protocols
  • Experience with Test Automation using scripting languages
  • Experience with POSIX programming
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as UDP and TCP, TLS, and HTTP
