Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and technically savvy Entry-Level Account Manager. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Business with strong technical acumen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, customer engagement, and technology, with the ability to understand and communicate complex solutions effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop relationships with existing customers, understand their needs, and drive expansion opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Identify and engage prospective customers to grow CalAmp’s footprint.
  • Technical Understanding: Learn and communicate CalAmp’s solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring satisfaction and value realization.
  • Sales Process Management: Assist in the sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer success, to support customer needs.
  • Presentation & Demo – Deliverin presentations, product demonstrations, and technical explanations to customers.
  • Project Management – Organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

Must Have - Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Business with strong technical proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Interest in sales and customer engagement, with a drive to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into business value.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to work in a fast-paced technology-driven company.
  • Travel as needed.

Good to Have - Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge in Telematics Solutions, Technologies, and market information.
  • Knowledge in IoT solutions, Technologies, and market information.
  • Technical Sales Experience – Any prior experience in sales, customer success, or account management within a technology-driven environment.
  • CRM Proficiency – Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
