Responsibilities

  • Assists Senior Engineers and Leaders with projects of significant scope that require cross-functional participation and have global impact and may affect policy changes company-wide.
  • Use modern manufacturing techniques and tools to solve manufacturing problems identified in the factory.
  • Analyzes data and work-flows to determine “data-driven” courses of action.
  • Assists Senior Engineers and Leaders to further define, develop, and document roles and responsibilities within the Manufacturing team.

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Enrollment in an engineering program working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Materials Science equivalent.
  • Minimum of a Junior in chosen degree program
  • Willing to work with international suppliers/manufacturing and different cultures
  • Strong problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills


Strong Pluses

  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other computer applications.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma concepts
